Remembrance Day to me is not just about those that died but those who came back with scars of the war and carried on. Gramp came back from the war with no legs. He still got married, had 5 great children, and successful career, he left too soon in 1994.
Remembrance Day for me is to remember what the veterans went through and still kept their heads high. When we think of our problems, remember those that died and those that returned. The mountains they climbed we cannot compare.
